Please check your transponder charger before sending your transponder to us. Try charge it in a friends transponder charger. Do NOT send your chargers or battery packs to us, we do not need them.
So What Happens?
When you send your transponder to us in a jiffy bag with
your repair form by recorded delivery we
should recieve it the next day. When we receive your
Transponder we register it on our database, then put onto a
soak charge on our chargers. If the unit does not respond we
strip the unit, remove the compound, the old battery gets
disposed off and replaced with a new better quality unit.
The unit is then put through several charge cycles, when we
are happy it is tested against a timing loop and only then
is the battery resin sealed in place.
TranX 160 Transponder
£40 + £6.50 P&P
New type transponder used in Kart racing, these are used
all over the world in non hire private karts. These
transponders can be picked up by anyone travelling under
160kph, hence the name of the 160. These transponders can
have a new battery put inside them. There will be no cut
away marks on the shell where we have cut it with a
hacksaw like you see other "repairers". Our way is straight forward
and you wont notice a diffrence in the case, the only
thing you will notice is the amount of flashes you have on
your transponder. These transponders can take up to 15
days due to battery paring with the boards, the battery
has to fully discharge before it goes on charge again, this is
to ensure you get the most out of your transponder. The
battery can last up to 10 years before needing a new one.
TranX 260 Transponder
£40 + £6.50 P&P
New type transponder used in car racing, these are used all
over the world in every sort of car sport possable, from
Touring Cars to Truck Racing. These transponders can be
picked up by anyone travelling under 260kph, hence the name
of the 260. These transponders can have a new battery put
inside them. There will be no cut away marks on the shell
where we have cut it with a hacksaw like you see some done.
Our way is straight forward and you won't notice a difference
in the case, the only thing you will notice is the amount of
flashes you have on your transponder. 260s generally pair on
the first charge and unit is returned within a week.
The battery can last up to 10 years before needing a new
one.
TranX MX

New type transponder used in Moto Cross. These transponders can
have a new battery put inside them. There will be no cut
away marks on the shell where we have cut it with a hacksaw
like you see some done. Our way is straight forward and you
wont notice a diffrence in the case, the only thing you will
notice is the amount of flashes you have on your
transponder. The battery can last
up to 10 years before needing a new one.
AMB 20 - AMBrc
£30 + £6.50 P&P
These hand out transponders are used in low speed go karting
and remote control cars. These transponders can be used if
you are doing hire sessions or come along drives, e.g:
Indoor Go-Karting. Because these transponders have no
perminant lights flashing its hard for you to tell if your
transponder is broken. Simply wave it over your timing loop,
if it is not getting picked up then check the loop by trying
another transponder. If the problem consists then send us
your faulty transponder and we will try to get it out to you
as soon as possable. These transponder batterys can normally
last up to 4 years if there charged properly.
